Concord & 9th...You're so Sweet!!

As a guest designer, this month, I am thrilled to be showcasing another of the new release stamp/die sets from Concord & 9th today!
The stamp/die set is called Orange You Sweet, and it is jam-packed with cute and super sweet fruit and sentiment stamps...the possibilities are endless!!  You can look at the how-to sheets on the Concord & 9th website to get some great inspiration for some fun ways to use these stamps.  I used the watermelon at the middle of the how-to page for my first card...using the largest circle stamps and the seeds. You could use the circle dies, but I cut the watermelons with scissors,  as I liked the uneven shape that was achieved with handcutting the images.  I then cut them a into a 1/2 and a 1/4, and used a couple really small circle punches to take a bite out of the 1/2 piece.  I layered the fruit, but before adhering, stamped the sentiment, using the same color as the melons to stamp the bold "sweet" into the outline (I also used my MISTI for perfect positioning:)!).
I DID use glossy accents to give the seed a bit of shiny...hey...seeds are shiny!!  Here's a close up...
The second card, I used the fruit die and another of the cute sentiments ...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sentiment...it is what I say to my son, Noah, almost every day...I look at him and just love him so much..I always say, "I could just SQUEEZE you!!"  I added this "sweet" sentiment with the fruit die cut, with colors of orange, lime and lemon...well...TOO CUTE!!!  I layered the white outlines and layered them on a  textured cardstock die cut of each color.  Here's a close up...
I am having SO MUCH FUN...if you haven't already, hope you get to check out this new release over at Concord & 9th!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Concord & 9th...Hope

I am thrilled and honored to be a guest designer over at CONCORD & 9th this month!!  They have some wonderful stamps and diesI have made a couple cards today, using the brand new HOPE , HOPE LABEL and together, the HOPE BUNDLE sets...
The HOPE set is filled with beautiful flowers and sweet sentiments!  The flowers are two-step flowers...they have a fuller base stamp and a second coordinating stamp for each flower.  I combined two of the flowers and leaves with the "HOPE" and coordinating sentiment stamps.  The smaller yellow flower I actually used three stamps on...using two of the smaller roundish flower stamps for the center.  I stamped the sentiments with Versamark and gold embossed...simply done!  These flowers are SO PRETTY!!! Here's a close up...
The second one, I used a couple of the flower piece stamps and a sentiment stamp, along with the new HOPE LABEL die!
HOPE is symbolized by the color green.  SO, I chose to make my card of hope full of green!!  I stamped the two flower piece stamps on a piece of green cardstock with green ink, to make a background.  I die cut the "HOPE" from black textured cardstock, and put slices of shades of the same greens of paint chips behind the die cut letters.  I layered it, so it would pop off the card panel, and stamped one of the sentiments from the HOPE set below the die cut.  I layered the whole thing on the same textured cardstock that I used for the die cut.  Here's a close up...
Hope you will check out the sweet new release over at CONCORD & 9th...and check back with me next Friday when I get to showcase the next wonderful set of stamps and dies!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

You Make Me Smile

Another card today with the adorable panda from the Simon Says Stamp stamp set, Cool Panda!
I stamped the cutie panda and cut him out with scissors.  I only used the top half of his body and like yesterday's, cut around his arms so today he could "hang" out the window.  I used two sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp You Matter stamp set...thought they went perfectly with this little guy!!  I used some pretty yellow gingham paper...thought it looked like "sunshine":):)!!  Here's a close up...
I DO love this little guy!!  SO simple but SO MUCH FUN!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

...More Than Bamboo

I LOVE the little panda bear in the new Simon Says Stamp set, Cool Panda...so stinkin cute!!  I made a card using this little guy along with some sentiment stamps...
I stamped the panda and cut him out with scissors.  I cut around his arms, so that he could hold a layered heart.  I stamped and colored the bamboo stamp from the set onto the stitched panel and added three of the sentiments from the stamp set! The stamping on the green card panel is also a Simon Says Stamp background stamp stamped with versa mark.  Here's a close up...
Just thinking about it...a panda loving more than bamboo...now that's A LOT OF LOVE!!!  Hee hee!!   for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Thank Over You Thank You

I was looking for ideas for masculine thank you cards, and found a Papyrus card in the store, that I just couldn't resist casing...
I used Simon Says Stamp dies and a background stamp to make this card.  I die cut the "YOU" three times...with two of the die cuts underneath the top panel, to give it a little depth.  I also die cut the "thank" two or three times, as well...the "t" and the "k" are 3 deep, the "h and n" are partial two and three, cut to keep them level, and the "a" is only 2 deep.  I used the Simon background stamp with some gray ink to stamp the graph and give the card a little interest.  Here's a close up...
Such fun!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
